About as out of balance as my own entry (more like rule of thirds than out of balance). However, we all know strong visual appeal is more important to an entry than suiting all interpretations of the challenge. This has it. A strong image with great lightplay. The treatment looks similar to what I used on my "Military" entry.

Another just awesome image that I think met the challenge very well. The visual weight is all in the top and even the suns reflection and bridge reflection out weight it. So, well done. I think this may be red or yellow.

i dont really understand what is meant by balance, so i have just been looking at this as a free study, that being said, i like this alot but i would love to see the color version, i am not sure the hue you chose for the duotone really does this justice

NIce photograph for this challenge with dark shadows and detail on top. The weight above creates tension and a dramatic composition which isn't forced like many others. Good luck!
