 This challenge was difficult for me to grasp. But I think I've got it covered both ways. Not only is it out of balance with the strong red of her shirt and the size difference. The title also implies there is something out of balance with the attention payed to one child over the other.

The placement of the children was very intentional. Red objects are the heaviest and things place on the right side of the picture also appear heavier. I had my younger daughter, in the background, wear very subdued clothing to add to the imbalance even more.

I'm hoping I got the idea and even more that other people will get my idea.

I think this should of scored higher. I like the concept - def. fits the challenge - and the composition is nice, so is the technicals.

FABULOUS use of dof. The contrasting color intensity is also wonderful, and really creates more than just geographic distance between them.
