She is so pretty! I like the way her eyes have a gleam, but not the huge obvious softbox reflection that so often appears.. |

haven't read the other comments, but this is my two cents. The eyes could be a little better of focus, but the lighting on the face is great and even throughout. I would also have brigthened her eyes a little bit, but thats just a personal thing, i like bright eyes. Great photo non-the-less |

Great detail, I would like to try this for a background as well. Just for the experience of trying it. |

It is a very cute portrait. Lovely detail and a gorgeous kiddo! I am not a fan of all white backgrounds. There is a lady here in town that does a TON of just plain white for a lot of her shoots. I think it looks to clinical (as ray_mefarsosaid. Adoable kid and a great shot! |

I love her smile, was she wearing lipstick? she is so adorable. About what other have said on the detail, I think a soft pp might go nice here, but then again, it might just be personal preference :) |

Not sure what type of comments were supposed to leave for this SC, critical for improvement, encouragement? LOL! Anyway, I think ray hit it on the head that this is a little harsh for a child's portrait. Not really sure if it's because the lighting is too harsh or if it's the detail. It also appears the focus is on the mouth (the bottom lip to be specific) instead of the eyes. And the blown out bits of hair around the neck might be better to just clone them out. That said, she has a sweet smile and a bit of a mischievous look about her! |

Lovely portrait, Jminso. Nice way to start off the challenge. It is extremely sharp and detailed (your lens/FF combo I guess) and this, combined with a high key tone, can sometimes look a bit clinical which is not always flattering as every imperfection is visible; works ok here though imo. |
