Just a touch soft, BUT still manages to effectively convey what I suspect may be his personality. he looks like the type that can be very stern, or strong, when he needs to be, but likes a good laugh. |

Worked out rather well for being out of focus, gramps was grumpy and decided to move! I like the texture and feel of the image. Welcome to DPC! |

Nice portrait. It's always great to have family portraits. Focus is indeed a problem here, perhaps because of the low shutterspeed? |

Certainly a lot of personality, I'd say! It seems to me a bit soft and flat.

Lovely b/w conversion. Play with some levels and curves and you'd get an even better pop of contrast, imo. :) But I'm a contrast nut. |
