 This was great fun to do

I dont think I'd like this alkbum very much judging by the cover but you never know.....

Most time was spent with th text which was distressed using photshops "scatter" command over the letters in mask mode and deleting the bits. Bevel and Emboss were added and a red colour overlay.

I visited Dunrobin Castle in Sutherland, (the North of Scotland) and there was a bird of prey demonstration on in the gardens. Superb place if you get a chance. This chap was sitting just outside his box waiting to be flown for the public, I took loads of photos and was lucky that on this shot he decided to stretch his wings.

Well! what can I say. So near and yet so far. What a shame because the score is very high This is an amazing image so beautiful and you have captured it so well. Beautiful lighting and focus.
Your score is excellent and only just missed the ribbon
For myself I would choose yours as a ribbon winner but I am only one vote and there can be only 3 ribbons
Good title for a rock band
Myself I am not keen on the style of font used but, hey, who really looks at the font when you have a great image but the voters comments say they like it with a few exceptions
Its just a shame you missed out but that's no reflection on your image
Keep the good work coming our way and you will surely be a ribbon winner.

This is not only the best photo in the challenge, it's one of the best images I have seen in my life. Technically perfect. It's a shame we have to put text on them in this challenge. Promise me you will offer this as a print. Promise! (10)
