| I like the way the lit edges of the stairs, and the rails, lead up to the lights on landing and in the windows, yet there is enough darness to keep mystery in the shot. It looks calm and peaceful, but anything could be lurking in the shadows. |

| I can feel the effort of trudging up the stairs after walking home from work. I feel the stories going on behind the lit windows, and just a touch of apprehension, although we've trudged up these steps so many times before that we know there isn't anything actually there. |

| At first, I wanted more light to see the details, but the more I look, the more I like the way the sparse light works with the shadows to make the eye glide over the image. |

| It's dark indeed, although there are some nice details which makes you wonder about what could be there. Skipping the top light and the windows would makes this even more intriguing. Good luck with your macro lens! |
