Trying to find a way to throw off composition was difficult for me. In the end I tried to find a way throw off the balance of the subjects (and to place them poorly) as much as possible, while keeping them kind of triangulated. Had to bail on this shoot as a wedding party was coming to the spot to shoot pictures, and while the pro they had did not seem very well equipped, out of respect we left the field to her.

There was, but I got to funky during editing and darkened it a bit. Live and learn. LOL.

IMHO the idea is right "two light poles shooted in a quite unbalanced way" but there is something I just cant get... may be the cropping choice.

I think you did a really great job nailing the out of balance.. it makes my eyes strech for more and my mind wonder whats above the light house and below the pole. My only suggestion is, since this is advanced, I would have selected the light house and raised the midtones in levels just to pop the house a little more... (just my lowly opinion)
