 wet windshield did most of the work. I converted to b/w with calculations, tinted it slightly red with hue/sat. I cropped it a bunch. and here's a new trick for me: I sharpened it once at 3 pixels, then I sharpened it again at .5 pixels.

I had similar photos, this was my best unbalanced composition. I have others that I probably like better, but they're perfectly balanced.

Hah, I beat you by one. I liked this almost as much as my own ;) and I gave it a 9. Really, I do like what the windshield has done to diffuse the image, and I think it is well off balance, in a good way.

I stopped and wondered over this one but couldn't do it justice with a comment. I like it, it has immediacy, a timelessness and perhaps more than a duality of focus, but I don't know if that's enough to say as a comment. Commendable anyway.

I really like this image as a whole. The title works for me as well. This also meets my confused understanding of the challenge quite well with the composition being against expectations with the person leaving the scene and on the edge of the image. One of my favorites of the challenge so far.

Love the natural raindrop-on-window filter. Not a clue of this is considered "out of balance", but a nice moody image. I like the curve of the snow and the punctuation of her figure.
