Not my only 10 but overall my favorite. Very well done. True expression of challange , nice lighting effects and and use of props. |

Nice "work". Excellent light, tones, and comp and should finish in the top five, but maybe too polished. Personally I'm conflicted by the artificial border and cobwebs on the hammer. The hand vividly says "active hard work", but the cobwebs say, "not with this neglected tool and not recently". The elegent border is a drag on the gritty impact. So, while first visual impression is an easy 7; the lingering impression of an artificial setup is a 5 or less; and net effect is only a mid 5 - 6. I'll nudge it a bit to a 6 because I like the tones and lighting - better than I could have done. |
