 Le Fanu House in Cottesloe. Originally shot this building on the Sunday before the challenge was announced and liked the site so much that I went back to shoot it again specifically for the challenge.

Shot at 10mm because I couldn't move back any further without getting a verandah upright in shot. Ambient light augmented with low power flash and a makeshift reflector (a piece of old tin found at the site), in order to bring out the detail in the leadlights in the windows.

Used ACDSee to convert from RAW to TIF with adjustments to exposure. Took TIF to PS7 and converted to greyscale and then to duotone. Brought TIF back to ACDSee and made slight correction to perspective and cropped. Used light equalizer to make lots of adjustments to individual areas of the image. Selective USM to parts of image, then overall USM. Resized and added border. More minor sharpening and contrast adjustment. Saved as JPEG.
