 Broad River, Athens GA.

Taken at noon, so not much by way of exciting light and shadows. Being winter, there wasn't much by way of color, so I decided to convert to B&W. Converted to B&W using DPP, and pushed some sliders to get the blacks and whites where I wanted them.

Always flowing, always cutting, always there. Nice interpretation of the challenge. I like the B&W but I'd somehow like to see a broader range of tones. Maybe some shadows/highlights work would bring out some grays. Nice one though.

My personal interpretation of the challenge was to photograph something man made. I would accept a photo of a particular tree or a person or animal over 100 years would work, but this is a landscape photo and in my opinion doesn't represent the challenge well.

It is well done with the river providing a good leading line. Overall the photo is a little dark, but nicely exposed given the bright sky.
