I went on a drive to find some suitable shots for this challenge. I went down a rural highway that runs along the lake near our house. I was hoping to come across some old wagon or combine. As I was driving all of a sudden I saw this huge thing coming at me lumbering down the highway. It made way as I passed it. Then it clicked "what a great wheels shot!" I flipped a u-turn and quickly passed it again once I got a reasonable distance in front of it. I pulled my car over and got ready for the shot. The shots were okay a little dark since it was back-lit. But I was able to salvage it somewhat using my new topaz software.

I know its not the best quality, I did manage to get a great one of a broken down wagon, that one would have probablly scored higher. But I love this one and it is too tempting to enter it. Maybe it will surprise me and do better than I expect. Right now I am hopeful for around a 5.5.

Indeed! And those are some wheels. The focus feels a bit soft (that or it's motion blur).

John Deer comin' through! Nice shot. Motion in the tractor but the hills in the distance are crystal clear. Nice depth. Those are meaty tires. Great entry.

Love the background and colors and the feel to the image, wish the wheels and tractor were more in focus, hard shot.

Reminds me of Craig Morgan's song, International Harvester

Hoggin’ up the road on my p-p-p-p-plower
Chug a lug a luggin’ 5 miles an hour
On my International Harvester
