That's really not a bad name at all - Distant Ports Calling...I like that. The shot is terrific, it would have walked away with the "Blue" challenge I think, and gets high marks here as well. Well done. |

Wonderful crisp image with good saturated color. I think you should have tried to isolate the sailboats more as they get lost in the background building. Either a different point of view to isolate them, or zoom in for a close up. |

Since the band name begins with "distant", a wider angle of view would help this (depending on what is outside of the frame i guess). I'd like to see the dock much smaller in the background, to go with your title. |

Excellent use of font style and placement. Doesn't detract from the photo which is very good.
Has a real breezy, open oceanfront feel to it.

Very nice composition, leaving more space at the top than the bottom, it makes more room for the text that way. I like the colors too.
