We'll see if people give me a DNMC for this picture. I personally think all 4 elements are shown in the picture. You obviously can't see the air, but it's there and the sun is a big fireball. We'll see what everyone thinks. i know the sun is over exposed. I thought it made it look more "fiery".

For the editing I:
Boosted the saturation
Boosted the contrast and clarity
Added a slight vignette - I saw that's allowed somewhere, hopefully it doesn't come back to bite me
Resized for web

I wasn't sure if I could clone out the small boat in the background, so I didn't. Though, it does bother me a bit since it's so little.

Nice work, could definitely benefit from a reverse grad filter. Did you use a ND grad? Good depth, but maybe a lower perspective would be nicer.

Beautiful image and the sun being "fire" matches the challenge.

I like the reflection of the sky in the pools at the lower right. But this is a little bit of a tough shot since it looks like the highlights are blown out around the sun, and then the rocks on the lower left are way underexposed. Possibly using a graduated ND filter would help here.

You need to make this a touch darker because it is very bright and it spoils the picture.

I usually don't have a problem with blown out highlights, but in this case, it's just a bit too overpowering. The rest of the scene doesn't stand a chance.

no manipulations of the subjects, purely instinct and natural creativity.
