 Seems like it changed from fair skies to storm clouds in half a second. The wind picked up and the air was perfumed with pine scents and rain.

(Edited to add)The spots issue came about when using the 35-350 lens. It's a push/pull zoom, and combined with the 30d seemed to suck dust onto the sensors all the time. I also uploaded the wrong version of the image. I tried to upload a new file like it says you can under "optional information" when editing the images, but I am not sure it worked

I used to work near the rim of the grand canyon such an awe inspiring place. Great shot.

One year, we went to the Grand Canyon in December. When we arrived it was a gorgeous, sunny day. We woke up the next day and it was covered in 6" inches of snow and cloudy, so we were lucky to see it bright and sunny without snow and moody and beautiful with it. This is a lovely viewpoint. Nicely shot.

Added PS: You really do need to clean your sensor! The sky shows a lot of spots.
