 What's left of a bank of water lilies at Reelfoot Lake, next to the Mississippi River in Western Tennessee. Sunset.
A broken spillway has lowered lake levels by about 18", leaving some pretty stark scenery.

Remarkable how engaging is this photograph. Every additional moment spent looking at it is repaid with something new. One of the best examples here lately of a thing being so much more than what it really is. Thank you.

Came back to upgrade your picture that stuck to my mind. Looks like a music score and I almost can hear the cicadas. Or frogs! I imagine it still continuing to the right, endlessly. Beautiful! Top 10.
