I am glad that I can use one of the hundreds of photos that I took in the last 30 years of the same subject. It is by no means the best shot of it, just the one within the time frame given, but it is the first time that I make the subject public. And, to my knowledge no one else photographed it. I would like to copyright it if possible.
The symbiotic relationship between the bridge and the mulberry tree is so striking that I stand for hours in front of it and marvel that nobody seems to notice it.
One of the mysteries of nature (unless the tree is older than the bridge and served it for inspiration, which is unlikely since the bridge is 141 years old).

You found a beautiful spot here, I'd love to see more of these in color and with soft lighting- don't get me wrong, the black and white has a classic feel to it that is lovely with the snow and works quite well in value and contrast; however, your description demands that more photos be seen...

Lovely winter photo! The curve of the tree and the curve of the bridge work together.

Wow, I'm loving the curves of the three and the bridge! Lovely.

It's a fabulous composition, but needs to be larger, with perhaps less sharpening to mar the fine detail.
