A reedit of a shot taken just after I got my first DSLR. I like the interesting shape of the trees, but 3 years ago, I was unable to achieve a shot I liked out of this.

Thanks for an interesting perspective on it. I removed the person in my reedit, because I wanted the interesting tree trunks to be the subject and not the person. I felt he drew attention away from where I wanted it.

O.K. I'm glad I not the only one who saw the trees as giant legs - but I will go further because I looked at the thumbnail and instantly thought of the pair of giant legs that walks by on the screen in Star Wars: A New Hope ( when Ben and Luke are in Mos Eisley ...I think after he sells his landspeeder to be specific). The tree 'legs' really stand out more in the B/W version (as well as some great textures). If there is ever another "Frame" challenge this would be a prime site to return to.

Awesome trees, and I like the bw very much. I also really liked the presence of the person in the original.. it gives an interesting sense of scale, and a bit of a non-sequitur of sorts because of how dwarfed they are.

I think it looks like one of the trees is bending over to give the other a kiss, but the other is backing a way a bit. Awesome find.

very nice in B&W. I like the shape these trees are creating.

Convergence :) Beautifully composed. Maybe it's because of the border, I can clearly see this as a miniature on a wall.

Nice shapes of the trees. I like the conversion to B&W and, although I'm not a border fan, your version fits very well here.
