What a great shot. The rail lines are quite unexpected and really make this photo pop. Very nice work.

What Album cover does this remind me of? Good job. Would like to see the poles removed. I know it's not allowed post, but maybe move down the tracks?

I like your choices here. Puts a nice twist on a familiar subject & introduces a touch a minimalism to a detail-rich (usually) subject.

Minimalist or incomplete? I'm not sure. Wonderful.

If one is willing they learn something new every day...googled the title and found out the it is a railway line in Australia...some interesting history with the original line too. But I am getting off topic - I have looked at this composition several times and each time it is the lines that stand out. Overall the composition is a study of lines and shapes but the track lines that lead off into the horizon is most commanding and draws the eye (indeed, it makes me think back to Junior High art lessons on the horizon line and vanishing point using a train track as an example). The traffic bars and and the railroad crossing lights are in sharp silhouette but nonetheless cue our eye as to identify the lines as railroad tracks. The lines and shapes along with the sunset hues to the sky make this a very eye appealing minimalist composition.

Wow, this is just fan bloody tastic "Mate". I love all things train. This image captures the solitude and endless/timeless/hassle free imagery of train travel. One day I might join you from Adelaide to Darwin. Composition and processing is beaut. I'll easily hang this on my wall in my train room. Hope it does well for you. My 2nd x 10 after 251 votes. Faved.
