 This fly was sitting on my window (not water). I used my sigma 70-300 in macro mode, but i still had to crop it to 500 px square. Lots of saturation added especially to the red eyes. Sharpened lots and filtered with neat image.

Absolutely sensational macro shot. Love it as an album cover as well .... but would prefer it as just the photo as it is so great (text great though for album, so no points lost at all, I just think this is such a sensational macro!). The colours are particularly good for a shot of this type. 10

Great macro, what is the surface he's on? It almost looks like a pan-shot, and I like the effect it gives.

Whenever I see a fly, I only have one person in mind. Or maybe I am wrong. Excellent colors. Good placement of text. a 10!

Like the pic but not the text. I'm not going on font etc as this is still about the photography to me BUT one of the things I dislike is the composition of the fly and text.

the text here is awful

arial bold - nothing creative with that. the photo is another story - but i cant get over the text.

Very good macro :) I'm not too keep on the text tho. I'd have preferred if it didn't overlap the fly's leg.
