 My daughter Madison. I know this shot is going to get destroyed and I will probably regret entering it because I am emotionally attached to it, but I wanted the world to see it. I love it.

must have been a fun day...personally I think that you could add a couple more filters to this like Monet or something to make this more like a painting...just a thought

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: What an unusual image - I like that. I like the suggestion that she is lost in her imagination or indeed that this is her imagination. I like the dark, slightly unreal looking sand. I also like the ambiguity in relation to the time of day.

Critical stuff: Although I like the coloration, I can't shake the feeling it is just slightly too dark.

Overall: A nice, imaginative image.
