this is a really good image and deserved in my opinion a much higher rank. Strong sense of story. I also am curious about the distortion (which really adds to the image) water? vaseline on the lens? Whatever it works well in this shot.

What a fascinating image. I've been back a few times. What created the blur? It has a lensbaby/fresnel lens type effect or is it moisture?

This is the first image that stopped me in my tracks. Certainly, the reflection/light thing in her hand drew my eye, but the the pp'ing made me wonder - is this a hurricane happening, a blizzard? There is such texture in the air, and delicacy in the tree. LOVE this. Something is definitely afoot here...

wow! took me a while to figure out that this was not taken in the night and that the guy does not hold a flashlight.
still it speaks "dark". a 9
