 Probably most of the people will think it's a straw, that seem's like a logic explanation. But, it was actually running tap water, the backdrop is a colourful plastic sheet which you put under the plate while eating (I don't know the exact english word for it). Hope I will manage to confuse some of you out there!

I̢۪m going to have a couple of guesses with this one. Either a coloured straw that you have produced a complementary background for or a glass tube reflecting the background colours. Probably wrong on both counts.

It's a very beautiful image. The sunset gradient in the background is lovely. I like the diagonal lines running across the horizontal colors. I'm guessing it is a glass rod.

I'm guessing a glass instrument of sorts, possibly a glass stir rod such as the ones that come in margarita/drink sets, held over a rainbowish thingamajig. Nice pastel colors, and interesting how the lines are perfectly parallel within the glass while running at an angle to it physically.
