 Photographers got one hour at an orchid show in Nashua, NH, USA (before it opened). Took some shots with a busy background which did not really work. This was taken by holding the black side of my reflector as a background.

Good for you! I've been challenged by the icky BG at an orchid show, too, never thought they might give some time to photogs. I'll remember to ask, this year. This is a tough one to shoot, w/all that negative space. Your BG works very well here.
