 Well - that's about as much post-processing as I've ever done (outside of an Expert editing challenge). I hurried it some as I don't have the play time I used to... Was trying to go for that "Norman Rockwell" look. Had it looking closer but chickened out and backed off a little.

The majority of the processing was done using Photomatix Pro 3. I created 4 TIFF files and pulled them into Photomatix. Generated a HDR file, then tonemapped it. Combined / created a couple of versions of the tonemapped output and layered them over the original (erased thru to bring back the shorts & shirts some).

Anyway, I saw this scenario forming up so I switched over to my 10-20 (that's why some distortion at the edges) and grabbed a couple of quick shots.

The boys are watching the early semi-final game. They were up next, and if they won they'd be playing the winner of the game they are watching for the finals later in the week.

Grog sentimental at sight of great coming of age moment. *snif* Glory awaits younglings going to first battle. Many enemies will fall to (metaphoric) blade of the "Growling Geckos". Legends of bravery and greatness will be told at lunch table over many days to come.
