 I fully expect this to be a polarizing photo which could very well deliver my first brown ribbon. That is not my hope or intention. I'm just aware of the type of photo most rewarded here.

Dark, gritty and a bit freaky...yes. I'll probably get slammed for all the stray hair etc, BUT that's the nature of the subject and it fits it well.

Just going to sit back and see how many comments I get on this one...pro or con. :)

Kind of poking a little fun at all the anticipated REAL portrait shots that will be half the frame. A little tongue in cheek. :)

Actually doing better than I expected at this point. LOL. It's pretty refreshing when you submit a photo knowing full well that it won't go over that well score wise and your main interest is the reaction of others. So, I can't complain at this point. :)

Well this is actually a surprise. With one day left my score has pushed over the 5.0 mark. Not sure it will stay with the last day/minute voters, but as I stated before...I really expected a low 4.xxx score going in and was perfectly fine with that. This is a pleasant surprise! :) I'm actually pretty amazed that I only got 4 comments on it so far. I was expecting many more based on the subject manner. LOL.

Well I finished above a 5 so all things considered this image is a success. :)

I didn't get anywhere near the comments I thought I would. Not exactly the reaction I was hoping for, but again...I'll take the 5 score and run with it.
