Here is my best effort to image this giant planet of our solar system. The procedure of capturing and processing the image data is quite complicated for anyone without experience, but here follows shortly a description:
I used as imaging telescope the Celestron C8 (SCT) with focal reducer at f6.3 and the imaging camera (Phillips Toucam 740K) was steadily attached and recording in avi (640x480, 10 frames per second). The avi video file was then splitted into individual image files. The very best (206 out of 625) of these files were aligned, optimized and stacked with Registax v5. Thus the signal to noise ratio was improved significantly. Furhter processing took place in Photoshop.

Some data about the planet:
Semi-major axis: 9.54 AU (1,427,000,000 km)
Mean orbital speed: 9.65 km/sec
Orbital eccentricity: 0.054
Equatorial radius: 60,268 km (9.45 x Earth's)
Mass: 5.68 x 10e26 kg (95.2 x Earth's)
Mean density: 690 kg/m3
Surface gravity: 1.07 (Earth = 1)
Escape speed: 36 km/sec
Surface temperature: 97 K

Not bad at all. Nice detail and I love the color.
