 Hmmm. I don't seem to be doing very well with once-a-week, but here's an offering inspired by this thread.

I didn't have anything else, so I merged a couple of shots of an old teapot. One was deliberately out of focus, and the other was not. I applied the in focus shot as two separate layers -- one in multiply mode and one in screen mode and put them at about 24% opacity. Converted to b&w and threw in some contrasty grain.

What an interesting teapot this must be, it inspired an interesting comp. I read the thread & decided to get a ND filter. I think I could have some fun with it.
