Congratulations on your top 20 finish. Could have been higher but top 20 is not bad. I just don't understand the two one's.

I love it! Cool perspective and I really like the toning you've given it. The DOF makes it look like an optical illusion. Such a simple thing but looks really neat.

The color and focus of this picture are excellent. The way this photograph has been framed makes it slightly abstract too. Great job!

Thanks for the title. I may not have recognized it because it IS such an interesting image. Nice job with the depth-of-field. I like the bluish cast.

I originally rated this a 7 but now that I've come back to leave a comment, I'm raising my score to a 9. Why? I like the way the blur suggests movement (appropriate for the subject) while the in-focus part of the image treats the viewer to that nice swirl on the top. Overall, the image could be just a touch brighter but as it is, the lighting imparts an interesting moodiness typically not found in images like this. Nice job :-)

Awesome depth of field, and also you have done a good job making this everyday object something interesting to look at.

Lovely smoothness; the DOF is perfect. I also like the tight cropping and neutral tones on this one.

Great perspective and light control on metal. Would like to see at least one section in focus instead of all slightly out of focus. Intriguing

Just looking at the thumbnails, and I have already picked a favorite...this is great! Love the way it fills the frame. Excellent choice of subject! :o)

The lack of focus is interesting but I think the tip of the whisk needs to be in focus for this to work for me.
