I think the lighting from the windows is way too harsh. They make an interesting background though, so maybe take the pic at a different time of day.

I just can't develop a taste for grey food. Sepia tone would have been more appealing. Nice composition, with the curves and straight lines.

Far too bright and washed out. This is a very difficult shot to take, I would suggest metering for the outside light and use fill in flash for the subject.

a little overexposed, and the focus is on the bottom portion of the stand makes it look like the bananas are out os focus

At first I thought that this photograph didn't really meet the challenge. I put a little thought into it, however, and realized that bananas are food, and food is an everyday object. Is food considered an object, though? I think this shot might be a bit of a stretch. I like the idea behind the photograph, but the light that comes in form the window is too bright & washes out the image.
