 I tried for good technical execution of a simple shot. I’ll be interested to see how it does. I find most minimalist simple shots don’t seem to do very well... Just resized, USM, Levels. My Camera is getting some hot pixels, I hope it does not get me...

nice, elegant composition. too bad about the hotspot. don't know what the white speck is just past half-way down the pepper (i know you would have cleaned this up if basic editing rules allowed it...). hope you do well.

The lighting is just a teeny bit harsh on the upper part of the pepper, but it's still a 9 in my book!

Neat.. The overexposed highlight is a bit much for my liking, but this is really well done, the composition is good, focus is bang on, the only annoying bit for me is the highlight.
