 This is an extreme macro of an LCD television screen.

Surplus achromatic 10x microscope objective on a DIY extension tube -- the total cost of this lens was under $14.

I couldn't tell you the exact focal length, but the DOF was so thin that just blowing on the camera or television made it loose focus. Mirror slap was a problem too.

It was a technically challenging capture of an uninteresting subject.
