 I'm not sure how "impressionistic" this really is. It's a stack of four shots of some palm trees blowing in a high wind. I didn't use a tripod, so I did some moving around to get them lined up. Some of the layers are in multiply and others are in normal. B&W conversion and some grain for texture. If I upped the contrast, I lost too much definition in the blowing fronds. I know this is "impressionism", but the result was an ugly black blob.

Agreed! First thought was feather dusters. LOL!
