|I read some as to what this challenge really meant and had a hard time deciding what to do. Someone mentioned Coke, and so I decided I definitely wanted to avoid any specific branding. Different bottles with and without water were discussed. Finally, I decided my definition was: Water Bottle - a bottle designed and sold for the purpose of holding bottled water in a serving size suitable for one person. Water bottles typically have water in them, but when that water is consumed, the water is gone, but the bottle is still a water bottle.
Armed with this definition, I tried to think of an interesting way of presenting the water bottle -- and cooking shows on tv inspired me to use a technique I have seen chefs use. I am not claiming to have really deconstructed a water bottle they way chefs have deconstructed, say, tomato soup. Still, my approach is an homage to the idea.
So, after liberal application of hacksaw and elbow grease, I present: Water Bottle Deconstructed.
