 This was a good learning experience. I have never done anything like it before. I really have no idea how this will do.

I sat for about an hour and a half by myself in the middle of nowhere with just my headlamp to keep me company. Luckily it wasn't too cold. We have mountain lions in the area so I was a little nervous about that. I jumped everytime I heard rustling in the bushes, glad it was just raccoons.

Score prediction: I can't even guess on this one, not that interesting of a subject so I don't think it will do exceptionally well. I will be surprised if I get a 5.8

Excellent. Wonderful job of getting the foreground to be daylight while still getting star trails and not having it be a noisy, poorly exposed mess. Wonderful composition. Excellent.

Great composition. The direction of the stars and main elements helps move our eyes gradually through the photo.

A very cool image. Looks like day to me, yet the star trails tell us this is night. Cool colors above and warm colors on the ground.... a difficult task, well executed. Meets the challenge especially well. The light globe emulates the sun especially well. Nicely done!
