I went out of town around midnight to a local canal where it was pitch black (lucky I'd taken a torch). I thought this barge might be interesting and could see a light in the distance, I didn't realise that there were other barges moored until I looked at the picture as I couldn't see them as it was so dark!

I do love the tones and colors. A white balance adjustment might have gotten you more points, but I do not care. Lovely scene.

Nice use of curves to add a dynamic element to the scene. I think I would have chosen to mess around with the white balance until this became more "day" like, but that's just personal preference.
