Sometimes free POS cameras can produce wonderful results. Makes for a very artistic shot of an "ordinary" every day scene. |

Even if your little freebie P&S is a POS, it's perfect for impressionist captures of light. Hang on to it! Get some more of these lovely comps. I love the luminescence of wet pavement & the dark sky in this is the perfect backdrop. The blur only obscures the fine detail. I think the cars work because the license plate info is not there. |

I was looking through my art books, and the more I looked at Impressionist paintings, the more I thought back to this photo. I feel that of all the photos posted to the side challenge, this most closely fits with Impressionist school in terms of art. Light and people doing what they do were two of the most defining aspects of impressionism, and this fits the genre so well. |

This so TOTALLY captures that featureless wetness that follows a storm. Lovely! |

Who would have thought a photo of a carpark could be made so interesting and aesthetically pleasing! The quality of light and reflections in the puddles are spot on, and the image really does shout out impressionism. |

Totally agree with Melon!
Anyway. Isn't it that the impressionist guy that painted all those haystacks painted them sorta blurry in part 'cause he couldn't see very well? That's like this camera of yours. Can't see that well, but takes a beautiful picture. |

My first impression is "wet". I appreciate photos, even from the simplest of cameras if they capture the spirit intended by the photographer. |
