You have a gift for capturing the dance that happens between darkness and darker. |

"The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters."

This wouldn't have worked nearly as well in color. |

The darkness and composition with the pigeon stuffed into the lower left corner gives me the feeling of possible danger lurking just out of sight. Beautiful camera work. |

Ok, since I'm not voting in this challenge, and it's driving me up the wall, I'm awarding bluebirds to my 10 favorite shots. I'll post them in the posthumous awards thread after the challenge is over, but I just couldn't wait until then!
Intensity is a perfect title for this one. It's very intense, yet peaceful at the same time. Love the background. Love the negative space. Very nice!! Here's a bluebird:

I like this one but the title doesn't resonate with me. Maybe something more like Escaping through the shadows, or On the run. Awesome shot though. |

The wing blur is excellent. Yet still retaining the line detail, in the wings. Perfect use of a slowish shutter speed and tracking. Oh and that background is superb! This image, really hits me strongly.
Oh and my first 10 given out. It's perfect to me... |
