Special thanks to Bear_Music, Yo_Spiff and vawendy who gave excellent feedback and critique on post-processing this image of a barn owl. This is very much the result of their efforts in holding my hand through the post-processing maze.

Was hoping for a 6+ score for this entry, but knowing there wasn't quite the detail in the feathers and the eye that I've seen before in raptor shots, I was nervous.

At 10 votes: 6.09x
At 84 votes: 6.4167

Since you didn't mention that it was captive, I must assume it is wild. Very nice get.
