By far my favorite thing about this photo is the dark/light contrast in each feather on the wings' trailing edges. I wish I could see the bird's head or where it's looking or where it may be headed. Also, the white diagonals in the corners are very distracting.

I so wish there was a head on this bird! It's a scream that it doesn't show, and that makes it interesting to begin with. However, I really want to see the head, simply because it's so incredibly difficult to get a decent shot of one of these little guys. The focus is beautiful on this. It's almost the perfect capture. Nicely done. :) (not voting, just commenting)

It's a good stop action shot. Would be better if the bird's head was visible. The white lines are distracting.
