 Met this man in Winchester, he was playing an organ in the street. Asked if I could take a photo and he was happy for me to. He is very old though I have no idea what his age is. His eyes were almost non-existent and very red and when I was at home and looked at the photo I noticed he has two fangs protruding below his bottom lip. Very odd'
I tried to bring more light on his eyes but could not get it right so left them as they were as I noticed some of the portraits that Weston took had very little eye detail

Resized, converted to b&w, usm in PSE9. Tone mapped in HDR Darkroom.

This is some portrait. I expect his face has been reconstructed after some horrible calamity. Good on you both to make this.

Absolutely expect to see this in Top 10 and maybe Top 3. Such incredible expression and detail in this image. Just phenomenal. So much history to this man. Outstanding capture. Changed original vote from 6 to 8. Only 8 of the challenge for me.

This is a very interesting photo. The face is unusual, suggesting some sort of illness or whatnot. But it doesn't seem to be about that. I am forced to stare and wonder. Great.

Wow, what a striking image! I think you captured the range and balance from black to white in a way that makes me think of Weston. Personally I think this is better than a Weston portrait. So, you lose points for too good of a shot.
