I found a new spot to photograph nature near my house. It may only be 252 acres, and it may be in the middle of the city, but the trails, streams, lakes, trees, etc make this a very quiet place with a lot to explore.
I had actually crossed this bridge a few times long ago, but never had a camera with me. Today I brought my camera and a tripod to get a nice HDR exposure. The wind was blowing, which gave the water movement, which I didn't really want, but it turned out nice.
Post Processing.
* Combined 6 photos in Nik HDR Efex Pro
** Created a preset after 6 or 7 tries at different variations
** Used a large number of control points to darken the highlights of the sky, lighten the bridge, and darken the grass
* Retouched a couple water/dust spots from the lens
* Increased black point
* Increase definition
* Bring the right side of the curves in a bit to lighted up the mid-tones and highlights
* Reduced highlights in the sky
* Export as TIFF
* Resize
* Sharpen Edges
* Save as Jpeg
