This is only my 2nd week having my first digital camera, and I still have a lot to learn. I used my 75-300 zoom lens, cropped it, and touched it up just a little to minimize the distractions of all the rock & background colors by adjusting the levels, and adding a border.

I don't think this is considered a macro shot. I think macro is supposed to show something bigger than actual size, not smaller. Unless this is a super miniature snow leopard species that I have never heard of. I could be wrong. That said, I think it is a pretty good picture, nicely cropped and I love the lazy pose.

OOOPS! I just re-read the challenge description and notice that entries do not have to be a macro shot. A close up is fine. My appologies and I am bumping up the original score I gave you.

Soft on the focus, but I like the expression.

A bit out of focus, color could be better

Good composition but flat light and minor focus problems detract a bit. It does a good job of conveying emotion but it may just be anthropomorphic.

This isn't a macro. The picture is also not in focus. Nice capture, though...there's great expression in those eyes.

But it gets a 2, because unless that leopard's head has been shrunk down to about 10cm, it doesn't meet the challenge.

I absolutely love these animals, and you have a great composition and capture of the face... however it is a little out of focus.

I like the fact the cat is totally uncaring about the photographer, but I would guess this is a telephoto, not a macro shot.
