So here is my process when I open SEP2
I look through the presets occasionally there is one that really works.
Most of the time I use neutral and then make adjustments.(that is what I did here)

Then I use the sliders under highlights and see what I can come up with.

If there still is something not quite right I use the control points.

Then I check the colors to see if they enhance it in any way. (this one looked good in green)

Then I choose a toner( a touch of selenium for this one)

And then I see if it needs a vignette (this one didn't because the color version already had a heavy one)

Is there anything you do that I am missing in my steps?

Amazing scene. I guess this is the same image? I think there is some noise in the sky and in the water too (look just above the rocks), probably you went too low with a channel (blue or cyan?). You could try fixing it with a control point, without disturbing the rest of the image. The white looks perfect for me, shiny and in motion.
To be honest, I would have gone with the b&w... but then you're the one scoring ribbons :-) - congratulations, you're doing great!

This is breathtaking. It was beautiful in color and even more powerful in black and white.

Such a lovely image, looks great in B&W. I love the sense of power I get from the majestic woman in the image.
