Nice contrast between the soft petals and the sharp spikes, and between the light and dark areas. The flower seems out of focus but the spikes are in focus, which is confusing given your title. Great subject for a photograph.

I really like the texture of the cactus, and I really like the petals. But maybe it would be a bit better if you had focused on one or the other.
