Fist opened in Picasa, cropped and converted to black and white.

onOne platinum, blend mode lighten, flatten, repeat onOne platinum and blend mode lighten, erase some of lightened area (left petals but not raindrop area) flatten

Life and rollover intervened before I could finish writing in my steps. So to add to the above,Topaz Denoise on background layer (this was before I flattened it, so read that as a correction to the above). Then I converted to black and white again in PSCS3 because there was a difference in tone between the erased and not erased parts of the image. Clone tool was used to remove 2 or three black specks and a slightly larger blemish on the bottom right petal. Duplicate layer, stroke border, flatten, image size, sfw. |
