 Fine Art. What does that mean? To me I think it means, what is new? What can I do with photography that we haven't seen done to death in commercialism?

You know, I actually sat out the Fine Art challenge a year ago, because I didn't have an answer to those questions. I still don't, but I made a guess this time.

This is an infrared shot. I've been working infrared hard for the last couple weeks. I think in infrared I might be able to offer up something new.

Now that said, I never came up with a shot that I think is anything new. Or anything fine art. But every one of my friends seems to stop and stare at this one, so let's see how the gracious mass of you all take to it. :)

I love IR and you picked up some great tone. Feels surreal like most IR should. IMO I would like to have seen more of the tree and sky and less of the foreground. The tree has something special going on.
