These kids were waiting with anticipation, wondering when the seal would come crashing just where they were. I remember being a kid and dying with excitment, just waiting for the mammal to come near us and brush itself against the glass, for me it was a new connection that was made and the only thing seperating us was bits of sand. That's why I still touch the glass whenever I go there.
It was very hard to take this picture, to take any picture actually, workers approached me and asked me if I had a permit to take a picture here, when I asked why they were asking me and not all the other people, they responded that I was the only one with a tripod.
Though the unecessary interuptions were not the only difficulty, the kids kept bumping into me and pushing me so they could see the seal and touch the glass.
I guess they had fun.
Croping done in photoshop. The picture was normally a lot better, but the restrictions of size screwed it up a little bit, I'm going to submit the original one to Deviantart. |

The idea and lighting on this is superb. It would be a 10 if there was a recognisable fish silhouette. The spots above the hand are unfortunate. |

Interesting. I like the composition but I'd like to see a bluer blue there's a lot of green here it seems like. The glow around the person, intentional or not, is really cool though. |
