 Not very happy with this but I was wanting to enter something, so...

Shot was taken yesterday (18 April) on my way home from London at Waterloo East.

I liked the corridor and spent a while trying to get an empty shot, which was quite difficult with people always passing through. I think my wallet should have been further from the camera, perhaps actually under the light, but I didn't want it too far from me in this situation =).

I also think the wallet could do with a bit more highlighting, on one of my monitors it's FAR too dark right now, but it starts looking quite artificial when I try. I probably should have played about a bit more with exposure when taking the shot, but I had a train to catch.

Any comments appreciated, I've only just bought myself a dslr so it's all a pretty big learning experience at the moment, though hopefully I can start entering these competitions semi-weekly and improving =).

I fear you will get some low votes from the folks with over dim monitors, but for me hiding the wallet in the dark works perfectly. Im not sure the centered composition is ideal since it reminds me of some launch tube as it is with little to entertain the eye on the left and right, but it ought to be top ten.

I don't know how I would feel about this picture without its title, but as it is, title and all, it gives me chills. Excellent.
You went for the jugular and left the dolls and the stuffed bear on their shelf.

Curious how many will miss the wallet due to improperly calibrated monitors and lack of attention. Very nice; easily one of the best in the challenge.

I'll have to take your word for it. I can barely perceive something near the bottom frame in the dark, but I'd totally have missed it without the reference in the title. Just a bit of dodging to bring it out a bit would have made a huge difference to me.
