I agree, whenever I see crosses on the side of the road it is really sad. A reminder of the dangers out there.

Seeing so many of these along roadsides I caught it right away. I don't know if this location has meaning for you and if so, I'm sorry for the loss but another angle might have dom=ne more for the composition. Good luck.

These things always make me sad. I think this photo could have had more impact if you got closer to your subject and blurred the background a bit.
